A different vision for Europe: green priorities for the Hungarian EU presidency

Benedek Jávor, chairman of the Hungarian Parliament’s Committee for Sustainable Development, and Bence Tordai, spokesman for LMP, introduced the joint publication prepared by LMP and the Green Group in the European parliament regarding the main challenges for the Hungarian EU-presidency. The publication is called “A different vision for Europe – Green priorities for the Hungarian EU presidency”. The publication addresses the priorities of the Hungarian EU presidency, and what actions Hungary must take in order to make this term a success.

Politics Can be Different (LMP) hopes that Hungary, while assuming the European Union’s rotating Presidency, will manage to reverse the loss of prestige caused by the government’s recent – for European eyes rather exotic – legislative performance.
